Size Guide

Size Guide

Find your best fit
All ELK garments are measured flat (not on the body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat-measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide.

We recommend checking your bust, waist and hip measurements against the guide below. ELK garments are designed for comfort and movement, with a consistent 5 cm increase between sizes.

Each style sits within one of four fits: Contour, Regular, Relaxed, or Oversized — you’ll find this noted in each product description.

AU Size Bust (cm) Waist (cm) Hips (cm)
6 (XXS) 79.5 60 88
8 (XS) 84.5 65 93
10 (S) 89.5 70 98
12 (M) 94.5 75 103
14 (L) 99.5 80 108
16 (XL) 104.5 85 113

Fit guide
Contour – A closer, more tailored fit.
Regular – True to size with light ease.
Relaxed – Looser through the body for comfort.
Oversized – Intentionally generous, made to drape.
If you prefer extra room or plan to layer, go up one size.

Product Care

Care for what you love
Simple habits help your clothes last longer — and keep their shape, colour and feel.

General Care
• Wash only when needed — airing can often do the trick.
• Use cold water and a gentle, eco-friendly detergent.
• Line-dry in the shade. Avoid tumble dryers and direct sunlight.
• Skip dry cleaning when possible; spot clean first.

For Knitwear
• Hand wash inside out in cold water with mild wool detergent.
• Press out excess water gently — never wring or spin.
• Lay flat to dry and reshape while damp.
• Store folded, not hung, to keep its shape.

For Leather & Footwear
• Wipe gently with a soft cloth and use a suitable conditioner.
• Keep away from water and heat.
• Store in dust bags or boxes when not in use.

Every 29lines piece is designed to last — treat it kindly, and it will return the favour.
